Do It Yourself At Home Spa Day

When schedules run tight and free time is sparse, taking a day to pamper yourself without the high cost is “what’s up”.

Life is not only busy but stressful as well.

Sometimes whats best is to take a break from all the stress, have some fun and relax.

What better way to relax than a DIY Spa Day?!?!?

Starting from head to toe here are some recipes and steps to make your DIY Spa Day experience amazing.

Do It Yourself At Home Spa DayRepairing Hair Mask

Recipe: In a blender, combine banana, honey, and vanilla yogurt to create a smooth mixture.

Directions: Apply the mixture to your hair starting at the scalp and making your way to the ends. Leave in for 20 minutes then rinse out thoroughly.

While the hair mask is in, proceed to the face mask

Clear Skin Facemask

Recipe: 1 tbsp lemon juice mixed with 2 tbsp of honey

Directions: Apply the mixture to the whole face avoiding eyebrows and eyes, leave the face mask on for 15 minutes. Once the time is up rise off face with cool water, then pat dry with a towel. After all, is rinsed off apply a toner and moisturizer. Don’t forget the cucumber slices!

Do It Yourself At Home Spa DayLip Exfoliator

Recipe: ½ tsp honey, ½ tsp sugar

Directions: Mix together ingredients and apply to lips, then rub lips together to get rid of any lip peals. Rinse off with warm water and a cloth

Homemade Wax

Recipe: 1 cup sugar, 2 tbsp. lemon juice, 2 tbsp. water

Directions: Combine ingredients in a bowl, mix together, place in microwave for 5 minutes, mix and let cool (approximately 5 minutes) once it is cool it is ready for use.

Do It Yourself At Home Spa DayBody Scrub

Recipe: ¼ cup coconut butter, ¼ cup coconut oil, ¼ cup shea butter, 1 mashed banana, 1/8 cup honey, 1 cup raw sugar

Directions: Mix all ingredients together and apply to desired areas of the body for a good skin exfoliator scrub while in the shower.

To finish off the spa day it’s time for…

The Foot Soak

Recipe: 1 cup Listerine, 1 cup vinegar, 2 cups warm water

Directions: Mix ingredients together, water temperature can be to your liking, soak feet in the mixture for 20 minutes, then dry off feet when finished

From head to toe, this DIY Spa Day is sure to renew the mind and refresh the body.
