Quick Healthy Snacks You Actually Want To Eat

I am trying to eat more healthy but I am super lazy about it.  I want something fast and easy but still good for me.  This lead me to start researching healthy snacks and making a list of my favorites. Check out the video below to find out what I discovered.

On the occasions where I am a little motivated I use these 5 fast and easy recipes for healthy snacks.

Tomato Pizza Bites
Ingredients:
4 Medium Tomatoes
2 tsp of Oregano
Light Sprinkle of Salt and Pepper
4 tbsps. of Grated Parmesan Cheese
1 tbsp. of Olive Oil

Directions:
Preheat the oven to 375 degrees
Cut tomatoes in ½ inch slices and place on baking tray.
In a bowl stir olive oil, oregano, salt, pepper and 2 tbsps. of cheese.
Once mixed nicely spoon small amount on top of the tomatoes
Take rest of the cheese and sprinkle on top of the tomatoes.
Bake for 8-10 min until tomatoes are hot.
Then turn oven to broil for 1 min to get topping good a brown.
Serve Hot.

Cucumber Salad
Ingredients:
2 Cucumbers
1 Small Red Onion
1/2 tbsps. Of Salt
1 Cup of White Vinegar

Directions:
Slice the cucumber thinly as well as the onion.
Put all ingredients in ziplock bag. (I like to then put the bag in a bowl just in case it leaks.)
Refrigerate for 1 hour.
Drain and its done!

Zucchini Chips
Ingredients:
2 large Zucchini Sliced into 1/4-inch Rounds
2 tbsps. Olive Oil
2 tablespoons Parmesan Cheese
Kosher salt

Directions:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
Place zucchini in a bowl and olive oil and stir to coat
Spread coated zucchini onto a baking sheet.
Sprinkle Parmesan cheese and over coated zucchini.
Bake in the preheated oven until zucchini are tender and cheese is browned, about 15 minutes.

Orange Juice Pops
Ingredients:
2 cups of Orange Juice
1 cup Low Fat Yogurt
1/8 cup of Honey
6 Pack Popsicle Molds

Directions:
Place all ingredients in a bowl and whisk until smooth.
Pour mixture into molds.
Freeze for at least 4 to 6 hours to turn into a solid. However overnight freezing is the safest bet.
To serve: Take a pop from the freezer and run it under warm water to unmold.

Yogurt Bars
Ingredients:
Wax Paper
1 Large Container of Plain Yogurt
2 cups Chopped Fruit (Pick Your Fav or Mix and Match) Berries Work Best

Directions:
Place wax paper on baking tray or in glass casserole dish
Arrange fruit on/in baking tray or casserole dish
Pour yogurt over fruit
Freeze for at least 4 to 6 hours to turn into a solid. However overnight freezing is the safest bet.
To serve cut into bars or just break off a piece any enjoy!

My Favorite Nutty Trail Mix
Ingredients:
½ cup of Peanuts
½ cup Pistachios
½ cup dried Banana Chips
¼ cup of Sunflower Seeds (unshelled)
¼ cup of Raisins

Directions:
Mix in a ziplock bag and enjoy!
